A New Class with Helen Callaghan combining Mindfulness Meditation, Gentle Stretching, Pranayama (Breath) for people living with or recovered from cancer and those suffering from other chronic conditions or anyone wanting a gentle healing class.

The focus of this class is Mindfulness Stillness Based Meditation as taught by the Gawler Foundation. It is a lovely simple practise that gently moves you from being caught up in excessive thinking to expand your awareness out. There is no right or wrong way to practice MSBM you simply observe without judgement what it is you are experiencing. It creates some space in your mind.

The class will involve a number of short meditations that I will guide you through. You can sit in a chair if you need to. Combined with the meditations we will work with breathing patterns and very gentle Therapy Yoga stretches. One of the most important things I have learnt in this life is the beauty and power of the breath coming in and out of the body. How by changing your breathing pattern you can change how you are feeling both mentally and physically. The stretches will create some space in your body, release tension and generally make you feel good.

Please call me to have a chat about any questions you might have. This class will commence when there are a minimum of 5 people interested. Please call me if you think you might be interested. This will be an ongoing class. Namaste Helen     Mobile 0437 002068
